ON OUR COFFEE TABLE

SO HAPPY TO SEE THIS LITTLE GEM OF COFFEE TABLE BOOK COME TO LIFE: NOMNOMVEGA IS A FEMALE PHOTOGRAPHER IN HER MID TWENTIES BASED IN BERLIN CREATING NUDE PHOTOGRAPHY WITH A HIGHLY AESTHETIC VIBE THROUGH A FEMALE LENSE. THIS IS HIGHLY FASCINATING AND HER FIRST VOLUME TITLED 666 IS A COLLECTION OF HER MOST FAMOUS AND TOUCHING WORKS. -T

I USED TO SPENT ALL MY LITTLE MONEY ON BUYING COFFEE TABLE BOOKS, MOSTLY FASHION DESIGN ONES. I GOT THIS ONE AS GIFT FOR CHRISTMAS A FEW YEARS AGO FROM MY BROTHER. I STILL LOVE IT. IT SUMMARISES MARTIN MARGIELA ’S LEGACY. FOR ME A MUST HAVE BECAUSE IT WAS THE MOST UNUSAL FASHION HOUSE FOR A LONG TIME. AND ITS INSANELY BEAUTIFUL AND HAS A WHITE LINEN COVER. -T

COMMUNE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE INTERIOR BOOKS. IT DISPLAYS AMAZING CALIFORNIA INTERIORS, WHICH ARE INDIVIDUAL AND DON’T SEEM TOO TRENDY, I LOVE THAT AND IT’S ONE THAT I OPEN AGAIN AND AGAIN IF I NEED SOME INSPO. -J

I HAVE BEEN OBSESSED WITH MUSIC AND DECADES LIKE THE 60S AND 70S AND THEIR HEROS SINCE FOREVER. I BOUGHT THIS BOOK BY LEGENDARY PHOTOGRAPHER JIM MARSHALL BACK IN 2009 IN A GALLERY IN NEW YORK. IT FEATURES ALL MY ICONS, JIMY HENDRIX, THE STONES AND MANY MORE. MY BOOKS ABOUT THESE TIMES ALWAYS MAKE ME WISH I HAD LIVED THEN. -T

TOLD YOU I LOVE THE 60S AND I LOVE MUSIC. ALSOI LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY BECAUSE IT MAKES YOU SEE CHARACTERS, LOVE, HAPPINESS OR PAIN IN EYES OF PEOPLE YOU HAVE NEVER AND WILL NEVER MEET. SO WHEN YOU FIND EVERYTHING COMBINED IN ONE BOOK ,NEW ORLEANS IN THE 60S, YOU BUY IT AND WANDER OFF INTO A WHOLE DIFFERENT WORLD. -T

I DRAGGED BABE HERE ALL THE WAY FROM NYC AND IT WAS SO WORTH IT! IT’S A COLLECTION OF FEMINIST ARTWORK BY ALL KINDS OF FEMALE ARTISTS AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT YOU GET TO KNOW SO MANY AMAZING WOMEN (AND THE MILLENIAL PINK COVER). -J

I THNK LIKE EVERYONE, I LOVED GRACE IN THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE DOCUMENTARY. THIS BOOK IS HER STORY AND IT’S BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN, SMART AND FUNNY - THE POP OF ORANGE LOOKS SO GOOD ON THE COFFEE TABLE AS WELL. IT MAKES SUCH A GREAT GIFT FOR FASHION LOVERS, TOO! -J

AS FOR A WHILE WE ALL THOUGHT TERRY RICHARDSON WAS SO COOL (NOT ANYMORE FOR OBVIOUS REASONS) I EXPLORED HIS FATHER’S, BOB RICHARDSON, BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY AND AFTER ALL THESE YEARS OF OWNING IT, I STILL LOVE THE COVER PIC SO MUCH. THIS ONE I BOUGHT USED OFF OF EBAY. -T

I WOULD NEVER CALL MYSELF AN ART CONAISSEUR, BUT IF I KNOW ONE ARTIST, IT’S JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE HIM - AND THIS BOOK ABOUT HIM. IT’S PRICY BUT WORTH IT AND IT STANDS OUT BEAUTIFULLY IN MY APARTMENT.-J

I’VE HAD THIS BOOK ABOUT KATE MOSS FOR AGES, BUT IT’S STILL ALWAYS ON DISPLAY. IT’S CLASSIC AND THE BLACK AND WHITE GOES WITH EVERYTHING. AGAIN, THIS IS BEAUTIFUL AS A GIFT. I ALSO JUST LOVE THE COVER WITH YOUNG KATE. -J
